Production Assistant
Duties: Assist in setting up Folk Show guest musicians for live broadcasts and recording. Get experience in music mixing and operating a professional studio mixing board. Gain skills in recording and editing using the latest techniques and the best new equipment. Work with an array of talented singer-songwriters, folk and acoustic bands, producers and DJs.
Qualifications: Must be available Sunday evening from 7-11:30pm. Having a car or a reliable means getting to XPN is critical. Knowledge of music and studio skills would be helpful. Enthusiasm for all kinds of music, especially WXPN programming. Ability to work well with other production assistants and XPN staff.
